The New York Law Institute (NYLI), and the New York Legislative Service (NYLS) are pleased to announce a strategic collaboration designed to strengthen access to legislative and legal research.  New York Legislative Service (NYLS) is the premier source for customized on-demand New York State and City legislative histories.

This partnership will integrate NYLS’s legislative tracking and bill analysis services with NYLI’s extensive legal research infrastructure, including its massive eBook collection, interlibrary loan network, and expert reference support. Together, the organizations will offer enhanced services and co-host educational programs.

“NYLI has always been committed to providing timely and authoritative legal resources,” said Lucy Curci-Gonzalez, Executive Director of NYLI. “Partnering with NYLS allows us to offer our members nationwide access to deeper resources for legislative history.”

We are thrilled to welcome Peter Fong as Head of Legislative Research to our team.  Peter Fong was with NYLS for over 25 years. He is a seasoned and versatile member of our team, Peter brings comprehensive knowledge of New York State and New York City legislation and rules/regulations and will deliver exceptional insight across all of our research services.

Our priority is to maintain uninterrupted service while we integrate operations, strengthen support, and expand the resources available to the legal community.
