NYLI is renovating… We’ll be in temporary space for the Summer!
TEMPORARY NEW HOME FOR NYLI – June through August 2025
Please note NYLI will temporarily relocate to the 11th floor of 120 Broadway while some much-needed renovations occur this summer.
While the work is progressing, NYLI will have most of its physical collection and all our digital and microfiche/film collection accessible to members. Our staff will remain available for inquiries during the renovation with no anticipated outages or delays in response times.
As always, please email us if you plan to visit so that we may place your name with Security and give you directions to our temporary location on the 11th Floor.
We look forward to welcoming you to the renovated space on the 9th floor in the Fall of 2025.

Emily Moog is a Research Analyst at The New York Law Institute. Her career started as a page at The New York Public Library and she has worked for more than two decades as a law librarian in NYC, working at Cleary Gottlieb, Paul Weiss, and most recently at Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP. Emily served on the LLAGNY Board, and is a frequent contributor to its newsletter, “Law Lines”. Emily's interest include legal research, New York City history and anything a little obscure!
