The New York Law Institute Announces Brooke Raymond as Senior Research Analyst

(New York, NY – June 21, 2022) The New York Law Institute (NYLI), a membership law library, announces that former Troutman Pepper librarian, Brooke Raymond has joined the Institute as its new Senior Research Analyst. With more than two decades experience as a law firm librarian in New York City and a former LLAGNY Board member, Raymond is well-suited to contribute to the NYLI team.

“Brooke joins our team with a substantial amount of experience as a legal researcher and is well-versed in the needs of law firm libraries in New York City and beyond”, said Lucy Curci-Gonzalez, NYLI’s Executive Director.  “We’re fortunate to add her to our already specialized team.”

About Brooke Raymond
Brooke Raymond, Senior Research Analyst, has worked for several AmLaw 50 law firms in New York City. She has served as a two-year board member of Law Libraries of Greater New York (LLAGNY) and has written several professional articles which appeared in Law Lines. Brooke was the organizer of a popular program, “Blockchain, Bitcoin and Business Intelligence—Oh My!” which discussed the impact of technology on the field of legal research. She was the recipient of the joint ILTA (International Legal Technology Association)/LLAGNY annual scholarship in 2016 and 2017. Brooke is currently fundraising to build a school library in Cambodia with the help of Room to Read, a 501(c)(3) organization.
