On January 15th, NYC enacted a law “prohibiting employers from posting job listings without minimum and maximum salary”.

Check out the New York City Commission on Human Rights (NYCCHR) Salary Transparency Fact Sheet linked here for quick guidance on these new rules.

NYC joins California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington in requiring salary information in job postings.
