While the Soviets commemorated May 1st as International Workers’ Day with a high profile parade featuring tanks and thousands of troops demonstrating Communism’s military strength, Law Day sought to emphasize the rule of law and liberty ensures individual freedoms….

This year’s the American Bar Association boldly states that “The rule of law—the idea that no person is above the law—is what ensures the rights of the people to live their lives as freely as possible and to pursue their dreams” …. and provides the following resources–

I found ABA’s 2026 Law Day themes one of their best; you can only pursue your dreams if there is a fairness based in law, and not if rules are based on the whim of a King or totalitarian despot. For the United States, the Rule of Law’s primary foundation is the Constitution…..a document that all elected official swear to uphold….

And while the Constitution is an historical document, it is also a living one that can be amended….
