October 30 is #AskanArchivist Day. Archivists nationwide will answer questions about historical materials on Twitter. Using the hashtag #askanarchivist, you can ask questions about collections, particular types of preservation and archives, or you can simply follow the conversation using the hashtag. Archivists from universities, museums, historical societies, churches, businesses, local and state governments, and other organizations plan to participate. The event is sponsored by the Society of American Archivists.
