The New York Law Institute Announces Lucy Curci-Gonzalez as Executive Director

(New York, NY – December 9, 2015) The New York Law Institute (NYLI), a membership law library, has announced that current Kenyon & Kenyon LLP Director of Library Services, Lucy Curci-Gonzalez will serve as the Institute’s new Executive Director. Active conference speaker, past AALL Board member, and LLAGNY past President, Lucy Curci-Gonzalez is well-known in the field for her leadership roles and participation in national and local associations.

“Lucy is an innovator and a well-respected law library leader”, said Ralph Monaco, retiring NYLI Executive Director.  “The NYLI Board of Directors and I are very fortunate to acquire her for this post, and we’re confident that she’ll continue NYLI’s transformative journey from one of New York’s leading law libraries to one of this nation’s leading providers of legal resources and services”

About Lucy Curci-Gonzalez
Lucy Curci-Gonzalez has over 25 years of library management and intellectual property research experience. Prior to joining Kenyon & Kenyon LLP as Director of Library Services, she was the head librarian at Morgan & Finnegan LLP. Mrs. Curci-Gonzalez earned her MS in Library and Information Science from The School of Library Service at Columbia University. She has worked as a catalog, interlibrary loan and reference librarian at state court, law school, corporate legal department and federal government agency law libraries in New York City. Lucy is active in the Law Librarians Association of Greater New York and in the IP Group of the American Association of Law Libraries Private Law Librarians and Information Professionals Special Interest Section.
