Since its release in October 2013, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 11 has been unable to pass Internet Explorer 8 in market share. However, according to Venture Beat, citing a survey by Net Applications, IE11 has finally overtaken its previous version to become the most popular web browser. Google’s Chrome browser has seen a slight uptick in use while Mozilla’s Firefox continues to decline.
