The Verge recently reported that Larry Page, Chief Executive Officer of Google, has a lot of plans for the future. About a year ago, Page started Google 2.0, a project to look at ways Google can overcome big challenges facing humanity. Such plans include more efficient airports and cities. Google has proposed a new research and development lab, called Google Y, to focus on even longer-term programs. Google already has a lab called Google X, focused on supporting future technology.
