Wired.com recently published an article about how a business owner alleges that Google Map Hackers destroyed his business. According to the article, a Washington, D.C. area restaurant noticed a precipitous drop in business over the weekend. Someone had apparently hacked into Google Maps and put in false information that the restaurant was closed weekends. The restaurant had been in business over 40 years and the owner was not technologically savvy and did not know what was going on. The business owner is now suing Google, but the company says the suit is without merit.
