The New York Law Institute will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2017 in observance of the Presidents’ Day national holiday and will reopen on Tuesday, February 21st at 8:30 AM.
The American Bar Association will not restrict accreditation of law schools for the time being. The proposal to restrict accreditation was a response to the growing reality of student debt and a difficult job market. However, numerous deans spoke out against the proposal for the consequences it would have on less privileged law schools.
