Membership
Membership in The New York Law Institute is available to any member of the Bar in good standing, and to graduate-level scholars in history and jurisprudence who wish to use the collection as a research facility.
- Individual Basic Membership - A fee of $1000 for all institutions with 20 or less attorneys resident in New York City. Basic Membership invoices are payable semi-annually January 1st and July 1st. Semi-annual invoices will include an opportunity for a $5 voluntary contribution.
- Affiliate Membership - Memberships are offered to individuals and business entities with offices outside of New York City. Such memberships are billed annually at $1000 per annum based upon the date of issue. Invoices will include an opportunity for a $5 voluntary contribution.
- Institutional Membership - (defined as more than 20 attorneys) such as law firms, corporate legal departments and other business entities applying for membership in the Institute will pay dues based upon the number of attorneys in their New York City office as follows; a fee based upon 15 percent paying individual fees of $300 per annum. Each institution will be billed semi-annually payable January 1st and July 1st. These invoices will include an opportunity for voluntary $ 5.contributions corresponding to the number of dues-paying members of that institution.

Circulating Material
Books may be borrowed up to 7 business-days with two options to renew by e-mail or phone for additional 7 day periods.
