Question: In drafting contracts, members of the firm's transactional practices use the terms:

Is it possible to find some sort of authority as to the meaning of each phrase? For instance, does "to the best of borrower's knowledge" require borrower to perform due diligence? Is "actual knowledge" a looser standard than "knowledge" or "best of knowledge"?
